What rules does the State of Washington require this HOA to follow?
Homeowners' Associations in WA are required to follow the Revised Code of Washington, Chapter 64.38.
These are effective until January 1, 2028, except as noted in the current RCWs which have been updated in 2025 with the passing of SENATE BILL 5129. All updates to HOA RCWs are available to be followed starting January 1, 2026, and are required to be followed January 1, 2028.
